Mini Series | Episode 8: Three robbers and a raven king / The rain car

Janoschs Traumstunde

Family/Book adaptation, Germany 1986

Three robbers and a raven king Three robbers make the forest unsafe with their wild goings-on. They not only rob people, but also eat up the animals in the forest. No one - not even the police from the capital - can stand up to them. Only when they rob the ravens' nests in the forest do things go badly for them. Because Wenceslas, the king of ravens, is smarter than the three of them put together. With a ruse he defeats them. The rain car Hannes Strohkopp wants a car for his birthday. His grandfather gives him one, which he has carved out of wood. In the rain, it turns out to be a magic car. It grows, becomes as big as a real car and can even drive properly. On the country road, Hannes overtakes all the others. But his car can do much more. In the end, it can even float on the sea, like a real ship. Cars that have been hand-carved by the grandfather are something very special.
