Searching for Mapà, Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary arrive at a ravine. After having discovered the existence of the echo, it occurs to them they may have reached the end of the world. Suddenly they are attacked by a large bird which wants to capture Pupù, but the trio succeed in stopping it from doing so and indeed save the bird when some volcanic rocks strike him and burn his quills. To thank them for their kindness, the big bird explains that the earth is round and that the end of the world, therefore, does not exist.
