The race between the hare and the hedgehog The hare challenges the hedgehog to a race, because he wants to be the winner. He immediately starts running, crossing the red light and continuing through the heath. The old man from the forest frees him from a rabbit trap, he limps a little further along the road, then he falls over. He still thinks that the hedgehog might have taken the train and become a winner. The hedgehog, however, is having a picnic with his wife and has long forgotten the race.
