It is a hot August night and Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary are lying on their backs, watching the falling stars. When a star falls into a pond close by, the three friends rush over and dive in to talk to the star and ask it to guide them and help them find Mapà. The star, however, says it just came down to earth for a refreshing dive. Meanwhile the water in the pond is heating up and the fish ask the star to please leave before they’ve all boiled. The little star, now in a quandary, decides to rise up into the sky again and instead fall on the Himalayas where it will finally be able to cool down and freshen up. As for Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary, after they have come out of the water and waved goodbye to the star, they dive back in again with a toad whom they have met on the pond’s shores. And thus they can finally enjoy some coolness on this hot summer night.
