The bailiff ordered the attachment of a poor, elderly couple: They had not paid their rent. A notary rings the doorbell and announces to the couple that they had inherited a bedroom suite. The couple agree with the landlord to use their furnishings to pay off the rent debt. Since their furniture is in poor condition, they make firewood out of it. However, the inherited bedroom turns out to be a child's bedroom - the furniture is all far too small. To make matters worse, the notary notices that he got the room wrong and takes the furniture back. The couple are left with the empty flat.
