The play "Kontakthof" bears the unmistakable signature of Pina Bausch: it is about forms of human rapprochement, the meeting of the sexes, the search for love and tenderness with all the associated fears, longings and doubts - feelings that are a great challenge, especially for young people. For almost a year, young people from eleven schools in Wuppertal embarked on an emotional adventure journey. Every Saturday, more than 40 pupils between 14 and 18 years of age were invited to take part: Dance rehearsal under the direction of the Bausch dancers Jo-Ann Endicott and Bénédicte Billiet and under the intensive supervision of Pina Bausch.
