The old-fashioned rooftop studio of a photographer is the setting for this Karl Valentin sketch. After the master has flown the coop, the journeyman Heinrich and his apprentice try to put the clientele in the right light. The following appear: a farmer's wife who wants to have her grandson photographed, an executioner and a bride and groom who turn out to be a photographic challenge. The groom is about twice as tall as the bride.
