Since the closure of the uranium mines, the small town of Mounana has been forgotten. Today, the former miners, who worked all their lives for the French nuclear industry, fear for their health and that of their families and have to face a daily struggle in an allegedly contaminated region. Deep in the forest of Gabon, between the memory of a prosperous past and the reality of a painful present, people must redouble their efforts to build prospects for the future and live a life of dignity.
