The Wild Chicks

Comedy/Family, Germany 2006

In the north of Germany, on the outskirts of a big city. This is where “The Wild Chicks” live, five girls between eleven and twelve. Close friends, inseparable when it counts, and - when necessary - strict critics of their own behavior. They are in fifth grade, think Robbie Williams, Italian food, piano lessons, social commitment and their teacher Mrs. Rose are cool and are united in their hatred of the pygmies, the gang of boys of the same age in their class, consisting of the leader Fred, the always hungry Torte, the card-playing Steve and the aggressive Willi. One morning, “The Wild Chicks” are in a state of great excitement: Sprat has issued a “fox alarm”. In the secret language of the girl gang, this means the greatest danger, even mortal danger.
