When he gets a job as a mechanic and then meets the beautiful Emily (Jordana Brewster), everything seems to change for the better for James (Hayden Christensen). His troubled past as a criminal is finally behind him. One day, however, his older brother Frankie (Adrien Brody) shows up on his doorstep, having been released after serving a ten-year prison sentence.
